Pond Apple Slough, South

Field Trips > Pond Apple Slough, South

Our January 12 field trip to the southern portion of Pond Apple Slough to discover native plants is pictured below. The goal was an informal inventory, but there were many more than we had time to note. Where our own photos were poor or absent, we have substituted a species photo with the yellow photo credits from the ever-useful Atlas of Florida Vascular Plants (Wunderlin). Please let us know of any doubtful or errant plant identification or notes, so that we don't perpetuate our errors Richard@Brownscombe.net). We enjoy hearing from you.

Pete has fun additional photos here (thanks, Pete):

Thank you Molly, Scott, Chuck, Jack and others for generously sharing so much good information with us. Everyone from novice to expert has different interests and knowledge making these group trips especially enjoyable.
